The 2019 Youth Capital is Vanadzor

Based on the results of the SMS voting and expert group's survey of the Youth Capital -2019 competition summed up in the RA Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs, Vanadzor was elected the 2019 Youth Capital of the Republic of Armenia. 

Three Armenian cities - Armavir, Kapan and Vanadzor have applied for participation in the "Youth Capital of the Republic of Armenia in 2019". 

Before summarizing the results, Deputy Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Kristine Asatryan noted that during the past few weeks professional visits were made to all the applicants, assessments were made by experts. "Besides the work of the experts, SMS voting was held, and now it is time to sum up the estimates to determine the next year's youth capital", said the Deputy Minister. Following the results of the SMS voting and expert group's research, the tender commission announced the 2019 Youth Capital of Armenia in Vanadzor. 

The goal of the "Youth Capital" Contest is to promote the balanced development of the regions of the Republic of Armenia, to develop youth initiatives, partnerships between cities in the field of youth policy both locally and nationally and internationally, to encourage the city authorities of the Republic of Armenia at the local level to develop a modern and effective youth policy. model, promote regions of youth organizations and sub development of arches.
